OK ON SOME OF THE HIGH COMPRESSION TRX90 RACE QUADS THE PULL STARTS ARE NOT HOLDING UP OR THE SMALL TIKES JUST DON'T HAVE THE LEVERAGE TO GET THEM STARTED,, SO WE HAVE FOUND THIS TO BE A POSSABLE ANSWER....
THE SHAFT AND TWO MAIN GEARS ON THIS ASSY ARE OEM HONDA PARTS, AND THE TEETH THAT GRIP TOGETHER ON THE SIDES ARE MUCH BIGGER THAN MOST HONDA 50'S OR 70'S (CRF70'S) SO WE ARE LOOKING AT A LONG LIFE SPAN ON THIS UNIT..
THE MAIN PINION GEAR HAS 22 TEETH, BUT THEY ARE A SPECIAL WIDE STYLE OF HONDA'S DESIGN, TO KEEP FROM BUSTING OFF..
ALSO THE MAIN PINION GEAR IS CONSTANTLY IN CONTACT WITH THE BIG FIRST GEAR ON THE COUNTERSHAFT, (34_TOOTH) , SO NO DAMAGE WILL OCCUR TO ANY OF THE MAIN TRANNY GEARS...
I HAVE SOME INSTRUCTIONS LISTED BELOW

| SET THE SHAFT,PINION GEAR,FLAT WASHER, CIRCLIP, RATCHET GEAR,FRICTION SPRING/CLIP AND CIRCLIP IN TO POSITION AS SHOWN
| | | THEN PUT THE CASE HALVES TOGETHER
| | | THEN ADD THE FLAT WASHER
| | | THEN ADD THE BIG COIL SPRING
| | | THEN ADD THE "RETAINER" AS SHOWN
| | | THEN ADD THE LAST CIRCLIP
| | | THEN "YOU" HAVE TO DRILL AND MACHINE THE CLUTCH COVER TO GET THE OIL SEAL IN PLACE BE CAREFUL !! ONLY AROUND .001" CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE SHAFT AND CASE IS NEEDED.. AND THE OUTTER OIL SEAL HOLE SHOULD BE SMALLER THAN THE SEAL'S OD,, BUT YOU KNEW THAT..
