@ *NEW_TWO_POSITION (OEM_HONDA) HEADLIGHT SWITCH (READ_DISCRIPTION) (278Y)  exed sorry discontinued

THIS SWITCH LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE THE ORIGINAL STOCK ATC90'S / 1979 AND 80 ATC110'S HAD,,, FROM THE TOP,,, IT IS JUST THE PARTS YOU CAN'T SEE INSIDE IT AND THE WIRE COLORS INSIDE THE BUCKET THAT ARE DIFFERENT...

IT FITS RIGHT INTO THE ORIGINAL RUBBER GROMMET ON THE TOP OF THE HEADLIGHT BUCKET.

"NOTE" THIS IS ONLY A 2 POSITION SWITCH !! ALL THE STOCK ATC90 AND 110'S HAD A 3 POSITION SWITCH FROM THE FACTORY..

BUT OF CORSE THE ORIGINAL SWITCHES ARE LONG GONE, DISCONTINUED...

THE ORIGINAL ATC90 SWITCH HAD THESE POSITIONS:

1. ENGINE OFF, HEADLIGHT OFF

2. ENGINE RUN, HEADLIGHT OFF

3. ENGINE RUN, LIGHT ON LOW BEAM 15 WATT

THE ORIGINAL ATC110 SWITCHES HAD THESE POSITIONS:

1. ENGINE RUN, HEADLIGHT OFF

2. ENGINE RUN, LIGHT ON LOW BEAM 25 WATT

3. ENGINE RUN, LIGHT ON HIGH BEAM 25 WATT

NOW WITH THIS SWITCH YOU CAN ONLY HAVE THESE POSITIONS:

1. ENGINE RUN, HEADLIGHT OFF

....(ALL ATC'S HAD KILL SWITCHES TO TURN THE ENGINE OFF)

2. ENGINE RUN, HEADLIGHT ON 15 WATT "OR" 25 WATT,, HIGH "OR" LOW BEAM

TO WIRE THIS NEW SWITCH UP JUST:

1. CONNECT THE YELLOW WIRE FROM THE ORIGINAL WIRE HARNESS INSIDE THE HEADLIGHT BUCKET UP TO THE RED WIRE ON THE NEW SWITCH.

2. CONNECT THE BROWN FROM THE ORIGINAL HARNESS TO THE BROWN ON THE NEW SWITCH, ALSO ALL INSIDE THE HEADLIGHT BUCKET.

3. CONNECT THE WHITE (LOW_BEAM) "OR" BLUE (HIGH_BEAM) FROM THE BACK OF THE HEADLIGHT UNIT, TO THE BROWN WIRE ON THE NEW SWITCH ALSO. (AGAIN INSIDE THE BUCKET)

4. THEN MAKE SURE THE DARK GREEN ON THE BACK OF THE HEADLIGHT UNIT IS "STILL" PLUGGED INTO THE DARK GREEN FROM THE ORIGINAL HARNESS.
