1985 HONDA ATC 70 SPIDY EDITION
We started working on the bike in Aug. of 2007 and finished the day before the OUTLAW CAR SHOW in Helper, UT. on June 14, 2008. Most of the parts needed to fix up the ATC were purchased from DrATV. Thanks for keeping parts for these old bikes.
An all night 400 mile drive from Las Vegas. We got there ½ hour before the show started. There was no class for ATC’s or ATV’s so we were placed in a “Special Interest Class”. The votes were counted and we won our class with first place. A very nice 1939 Fire engine was also in the “Special Interest Class” so the promoters split the class so we could both get a first place trophy. Our new class was “Special Interest Motorized”
The ATC 70 owner and the Spidy concept was Stephen Lewis. The painter and body man along with perfectionist was David Thomas. The graphics and art work was done by Dena Dowd. All are friends and all the work was done for LOVE not money.
The new owner is an 11 year old, B J Bowler, my Grandson.
This was a fun and challenging project.
