IMPORTANT NEWS UPDATE ON THIS CAM !! SOME OF THE ADVANCER

PIN HOLES ARE A BIT TOO DEEP, SO BE SURE TO SHIM IT SO THE

PIN STICKS UP THE SAME DISTANCE AS IT DID ON THE ORIGINAL CAM see diagram #14

THANKS

THIS CAM HAS VERY LITTLE EXTRA LIFT,(LESS THAN .5MM) BUT A LOT MORE DURATION!!

THE "DURATION" IS HOW LONG THE VALVE IS LEFT OPEN,, AND THE LONGER THE VALVE IS OPEN THE MORE FUEL/AIR MIXTURE GETS IN THE CYLINDER,, SO MORE MIXTURE MORE POWER !!!

THIS IS MORE OF A LOW AND MIDRANGE TYPE CAM,, AS FAR AS THE POWER BAND GOES.. OF COURSE THERE WILL BE SOME TOP END BENEFIT'S AS WELL !!!

THIS WILL FIT RIGHT IN WITH NO MODS NEEDED, AND WITH VERY LITTLE EXTRA LIFT THERE IS NO NEED FOR STIFFER VALVE SPRINGS...

here is what one of our good customers said about the cam

Hello Doc; I told you I would give up a report about this cam after I installed it. Well I got it in and I can tell its there. I am not sure how it would perform on a stock motor because I have it in my 104cc CT90 and its had alot of other work done to it. The 104cc overbore+Your 110cc carb + I ported the head and intake + Race 3/4 in exhuast. It sounds good out the pipe!!! I had to advance the timing just a little to find that SWEET spot. Over all I think its a WINNER.Thanks Eddie O. Sunny Calif.

ATC110's ???

(this is what one customer said)

Dear dratv,

Thanks for the cam and fast shipping, but you should list this as for 110s too becuase I just installed it in my 82' ATC 110 and it worked great. I could tell a big difference down low and in the mids, anyway thanks again.

Performance cam and Carb for 1978-1979 CT90 Hi....just a short note to say thanks for fast service and quality parts.

The performance cam is easy to change and a good tip is to back the valves off first because if you don't and you forget to adjust them the bike will not run the valves are way to tight!! We found you also had to advance the timing a bit. The advancer pin if required is easily made from the end of a 1/8 inch drill bit ground to the proper length. We found if you had to shim the pin it tended to spin out of the advancer better to make a new one about 1/8 inch longer than the stock one.

I also put the new 19mm Kei*Hin carb on.... fits perfectly and no adjustments required just had to save the screen from the old shut off...it did not require a new top set...cable length is great.

My son and I have 3 restored CT90's and we use them for hunting all season rain shine sleet or snow.

Look forward to more parts...thanks again.
