Yes, the carb,and the CT110 boot are a good
replacement for the stock
1977 CT90 carb and boot. No adapting.
I replaced the main jet with a 66 and it runs
fine. I haven't checked the
spark plug to see if it is running rich but it
doesn't misfire, sputter or
bog down at high speed (45-50 mph)
The carb's overall length was shorter than the
stock carb by about 3/4 of
an inch. Whereas the CT110 boot was longer than
the CT90 boot by the same
amount, 3/4 of an inch. The combination of this carb and the CT110 boot
resulted in the same overall length as the stock
carb and boot.
The intake opening of this carb is larger than
the 1977 CT90 stock carb
and the CT110 boot has a larger opening than the
CT90 boot, so it was a
perfect seal. I did have to use a larger hose
clamp because of the new
Even the cable and end cap fit into the slide
without any adapting.
