THIS IS A GREAT HIGH QUALITY RED PLASTIC TANK IT HAS THE FLANGE FOR THE STOCK PETCOCK TO SCREW ONTO. IT COMES WITH CAP ALSO YOU JUST NEED A VENT TUBE FOR THE CAP. SOME MODELS WITH AIR DUCT COVERS ON TOP OF THE MAIN FRAME, WILL NEED TO HAVE THE SIDES TAPPED IN SO IT IS THE SAME WIDTH AS THE MAIN FRAME TUBE. I THINK THIS GUARD STARTED IN 1983? MOST OLDER MODELS DON'T HAVE THIS EXTRA GUARD. all aftermarket tanks for the 185 and 200 atc's are the same way, you must make this cover the same width as the main tube of the frame. we have been TAPPING IN THIS COVER for years, it will not affect performance. AND there is enought clearance built into the bottom of the tank to allow the added height of the TAPPED IN guard.
